The Teigens met at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. They founded the ministry Growing Home Together to help couples nurture their families’ faith and love for Jesus.

Rob loves to get away to the gym for a workout, and Joanna loves their dogs, but most of their spare time is spent with family and opening their home. They have 5 children aged 12-29 and 2 grandkids with another on the way. They are involved in a local international student ministry, as well as a church plant, and keep an open and revolving door at their home.
Folks comment most on the Mr. and Mrs. Devotional, prayer books for parents, and 88 Great Conversation Cards for Husbands and Wives. They’ve been told that couples take those conversation cards on road trips, and out to dinner to spark conversation.
Every October the Teigens take a family trip to look at the leaves and Joanna takes Stepping Heavenward by Elizabeth Prentiss; there is always something new depending on your season of life. Rob loves reading Spurgeon, and they’ve both gained a lot from Paul Tripp’s writing.
